Consumer Consultation Center (Shohisha sodan)

The Sumida Consumer Center offers consulting services concerning consumer-related problems such as complaints relating to the quality or service of purchased items. If a salesman talks you into signing a purchase agreement based on false or misleading information, or gets you to purchase some goods, you may cancel the sale through a law commonly known as the "cooling off regulation." If such an incident happens to you, please contact the Consumer Center immediately.
