Sumida City Gymnasium (Sumida Taiikukan)

This gymnasium, which has badminton and table tennis courts, is located inside Kinshi Park. The badminton courts are available every Wednesday and Friday; the table tennis courts are only available on Wednesday. The fees are 140yen for adults and 50yen for junior high school students and younger. Those who want to use the facility can come directly to the gymnasium and apply on that day. It is closed every Monday (if Monday is a holiday, then the facility is closed the next day), and on the New Year Holidays.

Kinshi Park Swimming Pool (Kinshicho Puru)

The swimming pool is open to the public from July 1 to August 31. Operating hours until July 20 are 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Beginning July 21, hours are 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. The fees are 50yen per hour for junior high schools students and younger and 140yen per hour for adults.

Outdoor Sports Facilities (Okugai Taiiku Shisetsu)

Baseball diamonds, tennis courts, and an athletic field in Sumida City can be reserved (for a fee). For baseball diamonds and tennis courts, registered groups in Sumida City will be given priority.

Indoor Swimming Pool and Gym (Okunai Puru Taiikukan)

This facility includes an all-season indoor swimming pool and badminton courts and table tennis. From October to June, many groups use the pool, so individual use is often limited. Children under the age of sic can only use the pool at certain times, so please check the schedule beforehand. The fee for individual use (up to a maximum of two hours per visit) is 350yen for adults and 100yen for junior high school students and younger.

Ryogoku Indoor Pool

This indoor pool within Ryogoku Junior High School allows both the students and the public to share its use all year around. The fees are 380yen for adults and 100yen for junior high school students and younger. It is closed every Tuesday and over the New Year holidays.

Umewaka Sports Plaza

This Plaza includes a training room, badminton and table tennis facilities for public usage. Badminton and table tennis are on every Monday and Thursday. The fees are 140yen for adults and 50yen for junior high school students and younger. To use the training room, individuals must be of high school age and must receive a basic seminar before using the facilities. Please call the Plaza to make a reservation. The training fee is 200yen for two hours.

Archery Grounds (Kyudojo)

You can enjoy both traditional archery and Western-style archery here. Equipment rental is also available. The fee for individual use is 280yen per visit (up to a maximum of four hours). Rental fee for equipment is 100yen per set.
